Financing for your roof or remodel

A roof rarely fails at a convenient time. Financing is available for qualifying projects, and David goes over the options with you at the free estimate. There is nothing to sign that day.

How it works

It starts the same way every job does: David comes out, looks at the roof or the room, and writes up an estimate. The number is in writing before financing comes into it, so the amount you finance is the amount on the estimate.

  • Ask about financing when you book the estimate or when David is at the house.
  • He walks you through the options that fit the size of the project.
  • The application is short and goes to the lender, not to us. Approval is up to the lender and depends on your credit.
  • Once it is approved, the job goes on the schedule like any other.

What financing can cover

Financing is for the kind of work that is hard to put off: a roof replacement, siding, new windows and doors, a deck, a kitchen. It can cover the whole project or part of one, including the part of a storm claim that insurance does not pay for, such as the deductible or upgrades the adjuster did not approve.

It is not a reason to do more work than you need. If a repair is the right call, the estimate says repair.

Insurance claims are separate

If a storm damaged the roof, the first step is the claim, not the loan. We tarp the damage, photograph it and write a scope with measurements that you hand to your insurance adjuster. The claim stays between you and your insurer. Read how that works on the emergency roof repair page.

Financing questions

Do you offer financing?

Yes, for qualifying projects. Ask at the free estimate and David will go over the options that fit the job. Approval is up to the lender and depends on your credit.

Which projects qualify?

Most full projects qualify, including roof replacements, siding, windows, decks and kitchens. Small repairs are usually paid directly. If you are not sure, ask; there is no cost to asking.

Does financing change the price?

The estimate is written before financing is discussed, so the number you finance is the number on the estimate. Any lender fees or interest are in the lender's paperwork, and David will point them out.

Can I use financing with an insurance claim?

Yes. Some homeowners finance the deductible, or work the adjuster did not approve, while the insurer pays the rest. We write the scope for the claim either way.

How do I get started?

Call or text 631-404-9022, or send the estimate form on the homepage and mention financing. David calls back, usually the same day.
