In David's words

I'm David Taylor. I own L.I. Taylor Construction, and when you call, I'm the one who picks up.

My grandfather went into construction more than 50 years ago. My father followed him, and I followed my father. The company is newer than that. The way we work isn't. They both believed a homeowner deserves a contractor who tells the truth and does the job right. I built this business on that same idea.

I'll tell you what your house needs and what it doesn't, and explain the options in plain terms. If a repair will do, I'll say so. And I won't cut a corner to make a job easier or cheaper. My name's on the company.

A lot of outfits in this trade are really sales offices. They sell the job, then hand it to whichever subcontractor bids lowest. We don't work that way. Our own crew does the work. That keeps our prices competitive and means I control the quality instead of hoping for it. I stay involved from the estimate to the final cleanup.

You can reach me. I want you to know who you're doing business with, and to feel comfortable giving my number to your neighbor if we've done the job right.

That's what I want the Taylor name to stand for.
